Pro Bono Mentor Match training session takes place Jan. 21 in Troy

The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will host its Pro Bono Mentor Match free training session on Friday, Jan. 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy.
The OCBA has partnered with the Family Law Assistance Project and Legal Aid and Defender Association to design the Pro Bono Mentor Match Program. This program will provide valuable support to new attorneys beginning their careers while providing legal services to those in need in the community.
Requirements/expectations for this free one-day training session include:
* Participants must be members of the OCBA to attend.
* New attorneys must agree to take a pro bono case.
