ICBA, Cooley offer a free day of "Young Lawyer Training"
The Young Lawyers Section of the Ingham County Bar Association and Cooley Law School have teamed up to offer local attorneys a free day of ''Young Lawyer Training.'' Are you a new attorney (i.e. been in practice 0-5 years)? New attorney to the area? Or, would you like a free refresher on a variety of topics such as client management, sentencing guidelines, selecting a jury, advertising, case evaluations, depositions, and taking court appointed cases? Then REGISTER TODAY to attend this FREE event! Speakers will include experienced attorneys and law professors.
The program will take place on Saturday, February 5, 2011 in Room 404 of the Cooley Center (300 S. Capitol Avenue, SW corner of Capitol Ave & Washtenaw Street in downtown Lansing). The program is scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with a break for lunch. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided during the check-in period from 8:30-9:00 a.m.
