The Legal Aid and Defender Association (LAD) hosted a free legal aid clinic for income eligible residents under 60 years of age on Friday, Jan. 7, at Southfield Human Services.
"We're here at Southfield Human Services providing outreach services to clients that qualify for our services," Goodson said. "We provide legal services for them in civil matters ranging from landlord/tenant, housing issues, public benefits, foreclosure matters, as well as other consumer related matters."
LAD is Michigan's largest provider of free civil legal services to low-income residents. It serves metropolitan Detroit through its offices in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties. Anyone seeking legal services can call (877) 964-4700 or visit www.ladadetroit.org.
