Chalgian selected to become a fellow of ACTEC
East Lansing Attorney Douglas Chalgian has been selected to become a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
"Becoming an ACTEC fellow is a pretty big deal among probate lawyers" says Chalgian, "and I am very pleased to have been chosen."
Chalgian is a partner of Chalgian and Tripp Law Offices, with offices in East Lansing, Jackson, Battle Creek and Ithaca. He practices exclusively in the areas of estate planning and elder law.
He also is one of the few attorneys in the state who is certified as an elder law attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation and is the author of the Michigan Medicaid Planning Handbook, published by ICLE.
There are less than 60 ACTEC fellows in Michigan, with attorney John Bos of Chalgian and Tripp being one of the others.
