Wolverine Bar to discuss tips for aspiring law professors on Feb. 8

The Wolverine Bar Association will conduct its next general membership meeting and panel discussion on "Breaking Into the Legal Academy: Tips for Aspiring Law Professors" on Tuesday, Feb. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bodman PLC's Detroit offices at Ford Field.
The meeting will feature a discussion on how aspiring law professors can best position themselves to enter the market as competitive candidates for doctrinal, clinical, and adjunct faculty positions.
The featured speakers will include Professor Dana Thompson, University of Michigan Law School, chair of Urban Communities Clinic; Professor Gary Malveal, University of Detroit Mercy Law School, professor and chair of Faculty Recruitment; Professor Jelani Jefferson Exum, University of Michigan Law School, visiting professor (associate professor, University of Kansas Law School); and Professor Martha Denning Moore, Thomas M. Cooley Law School, assistant dean and professor of law.
