Feds in Detroit get guilty plea in hooker probe

DETROIT (AP) -- A woman charged with lining up business for an international prostitution ring has pleaded guilty in federal court in Detroit.

Nayubet Swaso is the third person to plead guilty in the case against Miami-based Miami Companions, which is accused of arranging high-priced trysts inside and outside the U.S.

Court filings describe Swaso as the former manager of international call centers in Panama and Costa Rica. Authorities say she, too, became an escort and was known as Sierra Sanchez. She also is a porn actress.

Swaso likely faces 12 months to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty Monday.

Charges are pending against Greg Carr, the former leader of Miami Companions. His ex-wife has pleaded guilty.
