Bodman attorney joining Honigman

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP (Honigman) has announced that Christopher Ballard has joined the firm as a partner in its Trusts and Estates Department.
He is located in Honigman's Ann Arbor office.
Ballard concentrates his practice in estate planning, trust administration, nonprofit organizations, taxation and business planning.
He counsels clients on wealth management matters, including estate and inheritance tax issues and probate administration.
He is chair of the Estates and Gift Tax Committee of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of its Taxation Section Council. He also is a member of the Ann Arbor Dispute Resolution Center's Board of Directors.
He earned a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a bachelor of arts degree, with honors and distinction, in Russian and Eastern European Studies from the University of Michigan.
Ballard comes to Honigman from Bodman PLC in Ann Arbor.
