Members of the bench discuss conducting a trial in a complex case
The Complex Commercial Litigation Committee of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, will present a seminar on "Conducting a Trial in a Complex Case - A Discussion with the Bench" on Thursday, Feb. 10, from 2 to 3 p.m. in Room 115 of the T. Levin Courthouse in Detroit.
Jurists from the federal bench will discuss effective and practical approaches to the significant components of jury and bench trials in complex cases, including expert witness presentation, jury instructions, voir dire, Daubert motions and other motions in limine, and the handling of questions by jurors.
