Next People's Law College explores driver's license restoration/expungement

The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) will address individual concerns related to driver's license restoration and expungement during a free seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Adams-Pratt Oakland County Law Library.
Amy J. Bowen-Krane, an Oakland County attorney specializing in driver license restoration and criminal defense, will speak and address attendees' questions. After graduating from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Bowen-Krane began her own law practice and then later joined the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office in 1994, where she spent two years as a District Court training specialist. She has handled thousands of criminal cases and Driver License Appeals during her career.
"Driver's License Restoration and Expungement" is the second seminar of the five-part People's Law College lecture series presented by the OCBA's Public Service Committee. The seminars are designed to help educate members of the community on different areas of law and to assist attendees in finding answers to their legal questions with insight from Oakland County attorneys.
Other seminars in the People's Law College series include: "Ten Myths About Filing for Bankruptcy" on Tuesday, March 29, "Thinking Ahead, Estate Planning for Seniors" on Tuesday, April 26, and "Immigration Law: Status, Rights and Obligations of Non-Citizens" on Tuesday, May 31. All seminars will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
Seating for each lecture is limited to 40 attendees. Register by contacting Jenna Huskinson, CLE coordinator at the OCBA, at (248) 334-3400 or by e-mail at cle@ocba.org. For addition information about this seminar visit the OCBA's Event Calendar at www.ocba.org.
