The Oakland County Bar Association began its first of three "OCBABC's of Practice" seminars on Thursday, Feb 10, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills. The seminars target young lawyers who may need some guidance getting their careers off the ground and into the courtrooms. The Feb. 10 seminar provided a look at "Résumés and Beyond." Taking part in the program were (seated, left to right) Cynthia Brazzil of Kemp Klein Law Firm, keynote speaker Victor Norris of Hertz Schram PC, and Chiara Mattieson with Plunkett & Cooney PC; along with (standing, left to right) Dean Googasian with The Googasian Firm PC; Kirsten Gramzow with Starr, Butler, Alexopoulos, & Stoner PLLC; Brian Koncius of Bogas, Koncius, & Croson PC; and Michael Lee of Law Offices of Lee & Correll. Each of the free sessions feature established lawyers and other service professionals who are volunteering their time toward helping potential and existing OCBA members with some of the challenges in the legal employment market.
