Incorporated Society of Irish-American Lawyers hosts annual brunch
Clad in their Irish finery with matching shamrock ties and socks, the Incorporated Society of Irish-American Lawyers will host its 15th annual St. Patrick's Day Brunch complete with Irish musical entertainment, Irish folklore, and snappy commentary from co-hosts Assistant United States Attorney Michael Riordan and former State Senator Bruce Patterson. There will be great food, entertainment, camaraderie, and plenty of jokes and musings from federal, state, and local political leaders, federal and state judges, Detroit area Irish-American lawyers, as well as other dignitaries and guests.
The event will be hosted on Sunday, March 13, (Parade Day) at Mario's Restaurant in Detroit, located at 4222 Second Ave. (in the mid-town area) in Detroit, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will end just before the start of the St. Patrick's Day parade down Michigan Ave. in Corktown. Shuttles to the parade will be provided for a small fee.
Tickets for the brunch are $30 for adults; $28 for law student members; and $10 for children under 12 if reserved in advance. Otherwise, tickets can be purchased at the door but will be $35 for adults. Tickets can be ordered or reserved by contacting ISIAL at (586) 468-2940, or by sending a check made out to ISIAL to: ISIAL c/o Macomb County Bar Assoc. 40 N. Main, Suite 435, Mt. Clemens, 48043.
