Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation to discuss changes
Michigan's Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation (OFIR) is hosting an investment adviser seminar on Monday, March 21, at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy. This seminar will address many of the changes that will soon be taking place relating to investment adviser regulation in Michigan.
There are two sessions scheduled, each targeting different types of firms. The morning session will be conducted from 8:30 am to noon and will target advisory firms currently subject to state registration. The afternoon session will be offered from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will target firms that are transitioning from SEC to State registration. Registration for each will open half an hour before the session begins.
Registration is now open and can be found at http://www.dleg.state.mi.us/email_parser/investment_advisers_seminar_registration.htm.
