Local benefit to raise funds to support victims in Japan

The Japan Center for Michigan Universities Alumni Association is hosting a fund-raiser to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. The event will take place Friday, April 1, from 7 to 9 p.m. at BlackFinn Restaurant, 530 South Main Street in Royal Oak.
All funds collected will be sent to Japan to aid disaster relief efforts. A minimum donation of $10 will be collected at the door. Drink specials and free appetizers will be available to donors. No registration is required.
Japan Center for Michigan Universities Alumni Association President and Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer, & Weiss attorney Ben McCracken organized the fundraiser.
