Program to explore international commercial arbitration, April 14
The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law will present "Nuts & Bolts of International Commercial Arbitration" on Thursday, April 14, from noon to 6 p.m. at the UDM Law Atrium, 651 East Jefferson in Detroit.
The program will take a look at "Drafting Dispute Resolution Provisions in Cross-Border Transactions," "Practical Differences Between International Arbitration and Domestic Litigation and Arbitration," "Compelling Arbitration and Enforcement of Awards Under the New York Convention," and "U.S. Discovery in Aid of International Arbitration."
The program faculty includes Frederick A. Acomb of Miller Canfield PLC, UDM Law Prof. Margaret Costello, Richard A. Glaser of Dickinson Wright PLLC, UDM Law visiting Prof. Troy L. Harris, Ryan H. Haywood of Owens-Illinois Inc., Larry J. Saylor of Miller Canfield, and Thomas Tallerico of Bodman PLC.
