Justice Scalia ticketed after fender-bender

WASHINGTON (AP) -- U.S. Park Police ticketed Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia after a four-car fender-bender Tuesday along the George Washington Parkway. No one was injured in the accident, police said. Scalia, 75, was driving his car to work at the time of the accident, court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said. He was on the bench when the court's morning session began about 10 a.m. Police said Scalia was driving south on the parkway just before 9 a.m. when his car collided with a vehicle in front of him, triggering a chain reaction. The justice's car was towed from the scene. Park Police Sgt. David Schlosser said Scalia received a ticket for following too closely, The Washington Post reported.
