DETROIT (AP) -- A California woman who escaped from a Michigan prison in 1976 is telling her story to Oprah Winfrey.
The website of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" says Marie Walsh will appear today. The 56-year-old San Diego woman was arrested in 2008 -- 32 years after climbing a fence while in prison for a drug crime.
Walsh was known back then as Susan LeFevre of Saginaw. Winfrey's website says Walsh will talk about her life and her book, "A Tale of Two Lives."
Walsh spent another 13 months in prison after her capture. When she was released in 2009, she said prison was "really terrible."
