The Jackson County Bar Association (JCBA) has announced that it will present its annual scholarship award of up to $2,000 to a qualifying person or persons at the JCBA Annual Meeting this June.
The application deadline for the award is May 13.
The JCBA established the scholarship award in 1997 "to promote greater access to the legal system and to better serve the legal needs of Jackson County."
The award provides financial assistance to law or pre-law student who are Jackson County residents and who possess the necessary academic achievement, career objectives, community involvement, and college/law school activities.
JCBA will provide information about the scholarship award to all Michigan law schools and various colleges and universities.
