Officers to be installed at next ALA meeting
The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), Metropolitan Detroit Chapter, will conudct its 2011 installation of officers by ALA President-Elect Steven Wingert on Thursday, April 21, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Skyline Club, 2000 Town Center in Southfield. Lunch will be sponsored by IKON.
Wingert will speak on the topic of "Diversity." Currently the Region 3 director, Steven Wingert, CLM, will serve as the president-elect during the 2011-2012 term. An ALA member since 1995, he has served as an at-large director, Region 3 communications officer, and in 2008 he was chair of the Annual Conference Committee after first serving as a member of the Committee for the previous two years. He received ALA's Outstanding Association Volunteer Award in 2008. Wingert is the past president of the Wisconsin Chapter, and a member of the Greater Chicago Chapter. He has been a speaker at annual and regional conferences and numerous chapters. Wingert earned in Certified Legal Manager designation in 2005
There is no fee for ALA member to attend but non-members pay $35.
