Jackson Chamber to honor leadership participants on April 21 at Michigan Theatre
Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a sepcial Business After Hours gathering on Thursday April 21, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Michigan Theatre (124 N. Mechanic Street) to celebrate the 2010-2011 Leadership Academy graduation.
The Chamber of Commerce will present 16 professionals for graduation.
The Leadership Academy is designed to enhance leadership skills for individual growth, organizational improvement and increased community effectiveness.

"We thank each one of the professionals for their commitment to the leadership academy for the past seven months and to the continued development of their skills after graduation," a chamber psokesperson said. "Good luck to all."
The Chamber keeps the leadership academy graduates engaged in developing their skills and the community as a whole through the Leadership Academy Alumni Association.
The next meeting will be June 2, at 7:30 a.m. at the Chamber office.
The 2011-2012 Leadership Academy will begin this fall on September 7.
