22nd Annual Bench-Bar is set for May 6 at Travis Pointe
The Judiciary Committee of the WCBA is sponsoring the 22nd Annual Bench-Bar Conference on Friday, May 6, from noon to 4:30 p.m. at Travis Pointe Country Club.
A lunch buffet is included.
The program is entitled: "Judicial Crossroads Task Force: How Michigan's justice system can meet the needs of the public in the face of major changes that are underway in the state's economy."
In addition, SBM President W. Anthony Jenkins will provide a state bar update; Chief Judge Donald Shelton will provide an update on the Washtenaw County Trial Court; Chief Judge Julie Creal will discuss 15th District Court; Chief Judge Kirk Tabbey will discuss 14A District Court; Chief Judge Charles Pope will discuss 14B District Court.
A panel discuss with the judges will be held along with facilitated breakout groups.
