Jackson County Chamber graduates 16 from Leadership Academy
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce graduated 16 students from its 2010-2011 Leadership Academy program.
The Michigan Theatre of Jackson hosted the graduation and Acro Legal Copy Service, CP Federal Credit Union, Consumers Energy, The Past Athena Recipients and Spring Arbor University sponsored the academy.
Michael M. Jones was awarded the 2011 Pat Carlton Community Leadership Award for his commitment to providing leadership opportunities to Jackson's professionals and for being engaged and passionate about the Jackson community.
The Chamber keeps the graduates engaged in developing their skills and the community as a whole through
the Leadership Academy Alumni Association. The next meeting will be June 2 at 7:30 a.m. at the Chamber office.
The 2011-2012 Leadership Academy will start on September 7.
