The Bankruptcy and Health Care Committees of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, conducted a program on "Financial Issues in Health Care" on Thursday, Apr. 14, at the Southfield Westin Hotel.
Taking part in the program were (left to right) U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Daniel S. Opperman, DMC President and CEO Michael E. Duggan, Carsten Beith, Michael Boudreau of O'Keefe and Associates, and Mike Hammer of Dickinson Wright PLLC.
The speakers talked about the turnaround of a hospital, financing for nursing homes, and the non-profit area.
