Women's Bar Association to host annual dinner, installation of officers

The Oakland County Women's Bar Association (WBA), Oakland County region of Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, will host its annual dinner and installation of officers Wednesday, May 18, at the Townsend Hotel, 100 Townsend St. in Birmingham.
The installation of WBA's new officers will begin at a ceremony at 5:30 p.m., followed by cocktails at 6 and dinner at 6:30.
The following individuals will be installed as officers: Stacey King, president; Elizabeth Smith, immediate past president; Kristin Murphy, president-elect; Ryan Mae Steele, vice president; Melissa Graves, treasurer; Erin Klug, communications secretary; Kristen Pursley, recording secretary; and Channelle Kizy-White, WLAM representative.
During the dinner, the WBA will honor U.S. District Court Judge Nancy G. Edmunds, Eastern District of Michigan, Oakland County 46th District Court Judge William J. Richards, and Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Michael Warren.
The WBA will present the second annual WBA Award to Patricia A. Stamler of Hertz Schram PC.
The cost of the dinner is $55 for WBA members, $65 for non-members and $40 for law students and first-year lawyers. Entrée selections are roasted chicken breast, beef filet, and vegetarian ravioli.
