'Treats for Troops' being held Saturday by Grass Lake Girl Scout troop
The Grass Lake Cadette Girl Scout Troop No. 60131 is sponsoring a "Operation Treats for Troops" event on Saturday, May 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will take place at Frank's Shop Rite, 401 West Michigan Avenue in Grass Lake.
The event, a part of Girl Scouts Heart of Michigan, provides for the purchase by the public and instant donation of Girl Scout cookies at one location.
The donated cookies will be sent to the men and women of all branches of the military serving in the U.S. and abroad, in honor of Memorial Day.
