Bernstein, Weaver to be honored by Washtenaw Association for Justice at May 25 banquet

The Washtenaw Association for Justice is holding its Biannual Banquet and Awards this Wednesday, May 25, at Barton Hills Country Club.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a reception hour with the banquet to follow at 6 p.m.

Keynote speaker for the event is former candidate for Michigan Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson.

During the banquet, the Ronald W. Egnor, Jr., Outstanding Attorney Award will be presented to Mark Bernstein and the Justice Blair Moody Jr., Award will be presented to former Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Weaver.

Walk ins will be welcomed as space permits.

The WAJ has about 200 members and is an affiliate chapter of MAJ which has about 2,000 members.
