Commissioners seek citizens to serve on boards, commissions, committees

The Oakland County Board of Commissioners is seeking interested citizens to volunteer to serve the community through appointment to the Friend of the Court Citizen Advisory Committee, Parks and Recreation Commission and the Library Board.
The Board seeks one of the following:
* One (1) Non-custodial parent representative for the Friend of the Court Citizens Advisory Committee. The application deadline is Monday, June 6, 2011.
* One (1) individual to fill a vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission. The application deadline is Monday, June 6, 2011.
* One (1) citizen representative to serve a new 5-year term on the Library Board. The application deadline is Friday, July 22, 2011.
