Snyder appoints Jackson man to Electronic Recording Commission
Gov. Rick Snyder recently announced the inaugural appointments to the Electronic Recording Commission.
Created in 2010, the commission establishes standards and practices to keep county registers of deeds in Michigan in harmony with the standards and practices of offices in other jurisdictions.
Diane Adams, Alessandro DiNello, Mary Hollinrake, Linda Landheer, Christian Meyer, Tom Richardson and Bambi Somerlott are appointed.
DiNello, of Jackson, is the executive vice president for retail banking at Flagstar Bank.
He is a member of the Michigan Bankers Association Board of Directors and serves as the Michigan appointee to the American Bankers Association Government Relations Council Administrative Committee.
He earned a bachelor's degree cum laude in accounting from Western Michigan University.
He represents individuals engaged in the business of banking and will serve a three-year term expiring Jan. 1, 2014.
''These appointees have tremendous backgrounds and will play important roles in developing innovative ideas to ensure Michigan can become more efficient and adopt best practices in the 21st century,'' Snyder said.
