Butzel Long hosts pro bono clinic

Butzel Long, in conjunction with the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association (DMBA), recently the Access to Justice Program’s pro bono legal clinic in the firm’s Detroit office. Several attorneys participated in the clinic where they conducted client interviews and new matter intake for ten pro bono clients.  Helping out at the clinic were Paul M. Mersino, associate; Shanta S.W. McMullan, associate; Marc W. Oswald, associate; Robin Luce Herrmann, shareholder; Jonathan F. Jorissen, associate; Jennifer A. Dukarski, associate; James A. Sheridan, associate; Dennis Donahue, Access to Justice Coordinator, DMBA; Roxana Gale, associate; and Ziyad I. Hermiz, associate. Also contributing to the clinic but not pictured were: Laura E. Butzel Long has a longstanding commitment to pro bono service and the firm has been named to the State Bar of Michigan’s Access to Justice Circle of Excellence for several consecutive years because of its community service initiatives.
