Detroit-area attorney honored during annual gala

Linda Orlans, CEO of eTitle Agency, Inc., and principal of Orlans Associates, PC, was honored March 16 by The Community House (TCH) in Birmingham during the group’s Annual Gala, which raises money for the TCH At Risk Youth Development Programs.

Orlans was recognized as a family business owner that contributes her time, talent and treasure throughout Southeaster Michigan, and as an advocate of TCH.

In addition, the gala, which featured the theme “Creating More Vibrant Lives,” also recognized nine other community leaders as Pillars of Vibrancy for their efforts in supporting TCH’s youth program, which promotes education, wellness, and culture.

“I am honored to receive this recognition from The Community House and pleased that I can support its efforts through this Gala,” said Orlans. “I admire the energy and drive of its president, Camille Jayne, and share her goals – ensuring that children of all ages have their basic needs met and are provided resources that can overcome societal and educational challenges for more successful outcomes.”

In her acceptance speech, Orlans focused on the encouragement of philanthropy through financial support, but also through sharing of gained wisdom and insight, which she believes are opportunity multipliers, leading to what she refers to as a “Bigger Future.”

Orlans serves on the advisory boards of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan and Beyond Basics as well as on the Board of Trustees and several committees at Michigan State University College of Law.

She also sits on the Board of Directors at the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Inforum Center for Leadership, and Beaumont Hospital’s First Words Society, where she is also the founder.
