The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) recently conducted its 2013 DME (Defense Medical Examiners) Seminar at The Henry in Dearborn. Among those taking part were (left to right) Kevin Komar of Goodman Acker PC; David Christensen and Sarah Stempky of Gursten, Koltonow, Gursten, Christensen, & Raitt PC; and Chad Engelhardt of Goethel Engelhardt PLLC. “We’ll be presenting a great panel of speakers to discuss the way that defense medical experts distort the truth and impact meritorious claims,” Engelhardt, a co-moderator, said. “Combatting these highly trained experts requires special techniques and we hope that the panel here today will pass on some of their great wisdom and knowledge in that area.”
