Unsung Hero
Attorney James E. Brenner of Clark Hill received the Unsung Hero Award from the State Bar Representative Assembly at the State Bar’s annual meeting in Lansing on September 19. Brenner was nominated as an Unsung Hero for his quiet pro bono success in death penalty appeals over the last 24 years and his 10 years as chair of the board of directors of Wayne County Neighborhood Legal Services.
