Former Michigan attorney general Frank Kelley presented the keynote address on Friday, Oct. 11, at the 2013 Wayne Law Review Symposium. The daylong symposium, titled “A Wave of Change: Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Michigan’s Constitution and the Evolution of State Constitutionalism,” brought some of the state’s brightest legal minds to Wayne State University Law School. Speakers evaluated the progress of state constitutionalism over the past 50 years and focused on the unique and important qualities of state constitutions that are often overlooked and undervalued. The symposium was made possible through the support of the Cohn Family Endowed Fund.
