The Oakland County Bar Association’s New Lawyers Basic Skills Seminar Series “Introduction to Practice” concluded on Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Oakland County?Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills. Among those speaking on “Law Practice Management” were (l-r) Birmingham attorney Gail Straith who discussed trust account and client protection funds; Diane Ebersole who discussed technology; and Cooley Law?School Ann Arbor campus Associate Dean Joan Vestrand who discussed avoiding malpractice. Also speaking at the program were Moheeb Murray of Bush, Seyferth, & Paige PLLC who spoke about gaining and retaining clients, and Tom Howlett of the Googasian Firm PC who spoke about building and safeguarding one’s reputation.
