PALS Night Out

The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) hosted a general meeting on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Polish Village Cafe in Hamtramck. Addressing the PALS gathering was investigative reporter M.L. Elrick (fourth from left) who received a Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the Kwame Kilpatrick scandal. Welcoming Elrick to the meeting were (l-r) Warren attorney Mark Teklinski, Wayne County 20th District Court Chief Judge Mark J. Plawecki, Wayne County 34th District Court Judge Tina Brooks Green, Eastpointe attorney William Jurczak, Anna Witkowska of University Bank, Kinga Gorzelewski of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, Southgate attorney Doug Hamel, Macomb County 37th District Court Judge John Chmura, Detroit attorney Thaddeus Kedzierski, and Berkley attorney Michael Dean.
