Cooley Law School was recently recognized for outstanding student participation and membership, along with its commitment to serve the law student community, at the American Bar Association Law Student Division (ABA-LSD) Sixth Circuit meeting held at Cooley’s Auburn Hills campus. Aaron Sohaski (center), Cooley student and governor for the association’s Sixth Circuit, is pictured presenting the honors to Lisa Halushka, Cooley acting associate dean, and Frank Aiello, Cooley assistant dean. “Cooley is very passionate about providing experiences to engage our student community and could not be more proud of the work our students do,” said Halushka. “This is just another fine example of the mentality that drives success here at Cooley.” Those attending the meeting had the opportunity to listen to keynote speaker Tom Rombach, president-elect for the State Bar of Michigan and Cooley graduate, who spoke on the 10 things a lawyer must do to be successful in practice.
