YLS Gathering

The State Bar of Michigan’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS) hosted a gathering on Thursday, March 27, at 3rd Street Bar in Detroit. During the gathering, Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Michael Talbot (second from left) discussed his role as special judicial administrator of the Wayne County 36th District Court and as chief judge of the Michigan Court of Claims. In addition, Mark Peyser (far right) of Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC addressed the group about the importance of building litigation skills. Happy to welcome the speakers to the event were YLS Chair Hope Shovein (far left) of Brooks Kushman PC, and Bari Blake Wood (second from right) of the Michigan Court of Appeals.
