Belveal appointed vice chair of American Bar Association’s Women in White Collar Subcommittee
Jennifer Zbytowski Belveal, a partner in Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn’s Litigation Department and leader of its White Collar Crime and Investigations Practice Group, has been appointed as vice chair of the Women in White Collar Subcommittee. This is a subcommittee of the Criminal Justice Section’s White Collar Committee of the American Bar Association. The mission of the subcommittee is to provide opportunities to promote and enhance the legal practices of female white collar lawyers, increase gender diversity in the white collar crime practice, and collaborate with other individuals and organizations to improve the status of women practicing in white collar crime. The Women in White Collar Subcommittee was created a few years ago because, historically, few female attorneys have practiced in the area of white collar crime.
