The Oakland County Bar Association (OCBA) New Lawyers Committee (NLC) hosted its 15th Annual Tigers Outing on Friday, June 6, at Comerica Park. Prior to the game between the Detroit Tigers and the Boston Red Sox, the committee presented a check to the Jacqueline E. Bayley Foundation (JEBF), which was the NLC’s selected charity this year. Funds were raised from committee events such as the Summer Splash, Novemberfest, Board of Directors Euchre Tournament, and Meet the Judges Party/Silent Auction. Taking part in the on-field check presentation to JEBF before the first pitch were (l-r) OCBA Treasurer David Anderson and NLC Chair Geoff Brown, both with Collins Einhorn Farrell PC; NLC Chair-Elect Syeda Davidson of Burgess & Sharp PLLC; Mick Kahaian of Stout, Risius, Ross; Dana Bennett and Eleanore Schroeder of JEBF; and Detroit Tigers mascot Paws.
