Outreach Clinic

Legal Aid and Defender Association Inc. (LAD) conducted a free outreach clinic on civil legal services for income-eligible residents of Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties on Monday, July 7, at Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency (OLHSA) in Pontiac. Ready to provide legal help at the clinic was LAD’s Robert Santiago. “We’re hoping that the people who generally come for OLHSA services that this clinic will also allow those same people access to legal assistance for problems they have, either landlord/tenant, general consumer contract, or things like that—something we can just look over quickly and maybe provide some brief advice or, if needed, maybe direct representation,” Santiago said. LAD is the largest provider of free civil legal services to low-income residents of Michigan. Anyone seeking legal services can call (877) 964-4700 or visit http://www.ladadetroit.org.
