The History Book Club discussed “Paris 1919: Six Months That Changed the World” by Margaret MacMillan during its November meeting. Macomb County Circuit Court Chief Judge John Foster (right) led the discussion at the Barnes & Noble store in Shelby Township. Foster is pictured with Steve Steinhardt, an attorney and adjunct history professor at Macomb Community College who helps direct the monthly discussions.The Macomb County Bar Foundation sponsors the monthly book discussion sessions. The club was formed last year to discuss books that focus on constitutional history, the Civil War, World Wars I and II, the courts and other significant historical events.
