Third annual Community Health Fair set for July 28

Judge Timothy Kenny and Third Circuit Mental Health Court along with Detroit Central City Community Mental Health Agency and Health Center, Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority and Wayne County Children and Family Services (Community Corrections Division) are hosting the third annual Community Health Fair on July 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Detroit Eastern Market at 2934 Russell Street, Shed #3. The health fair is free.
Third Circuit Mental Health Court and its community partners are increasing momentum by connecting individuals to effective community-based health services. The fair will feature more than 70 vendors showcasing their services. Last year, more than 600 people attended. A larger crowd is anticipated this year because it is "Tuesday Market Day" and "Double Up Food Bucks Day" at Eastern Market.
Music, demonstrations and interactive activities will be ongoing throughout the day.
For more information, call Deborah Price, Mental Health Court coordinator at (313) 224-2269 or Norris Howard at (313) 833-6288.
