Macomb County has joined other municipalities across the country in celebrating National Welcoming Week.
One Macomb, a county initiative that works to promote multiculturalism and inclusion in the county, is hosting a naturalization ceremony on Friday, Sept. 18 at Lorenzo Cultural Center at Macomb Community College.
The event is scheduled at 10 a.m. The center is located at 44575 Garfield.
During the ceremony, immigrants will take their final step to U.S. citizenship.
