In the spirit of the season, families can enjoy an afternoon of holiday fun on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the 2015 Winter Fest presented by Leo’s Coney Island and the Joe Kocur Foundation for Children.
Winter Fest activities will be held outdoors from 1-5 p.m. in the parking lot at the Leo’s Coney Island, 48865 Hayes in Shelby Township.
“We’re very excited to give our customers the gift of a free holiday event for their families to experience together. It’s also a wonderful opportunity to get out and support two great causes,” said Christ Backos, Leo’s Coney Island – AddBack Restaurant Group owner.
Children will enjoy a visit from Santa and his sleigh with live reindeer and Olaf and Elsa.
A silent auction also is planned, featuring autographed sports memorabilia.
All auction proceeds will benefit the Joe Kocur Foundation for Children.
Although all Winter Fest activities are free, guests are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy for the annual Leo’s Coney Island Toys For Tots toy drive.
