The Michigan Court of Claims has reported more than a dozen calls from members of the public who say they received a phone call from someone named “Trevor” who says there are legal proceedings against them in the Court of Claims.
Those receiving the calls are advised to call a 1-888 number.
The court issued the following statement: “Please, be advised that the Court of Claims only handles claims against the state and will never call the public.
