Clark Hill PLC, a full-service legal and professional services firm based primarily in the Eastern US, and Morris Polich & Purdy LLP (MPP), a firm with nearly 100 lawyers in California and Nevada, will combine effective July 17, 2017. The combined firms will operate under the name Clark Hill.
With more than 450 attorneys and professionals in 16 offices in nine states and the District of Columbia, the merger will substantially enhance Clark Hill’s ability to serve their clients throughout the country and beyond. The merger significantly strengthens the firm’s depth of legal resources in a wide array of practices and industries, especially litigation.
“MPP mirrors Clark Hill’s values and puts client needs first. MPP has a distinguished reputation, an outstanding group of clients, and lawyers in important business centers – LA, San Francisco, San Diego and Las Vegas. We are delighted that our firms are coming together,” said John J. Hern Jr., CEO of Clark Hill. “MPP’s local and national reputation for handling challenging, high-profile cases and their prestigious record will strengthen our firm and our commitment to client value and excellence.”
“Our respective firms have enjoyed considerable success in recent years,” added Donald J. Ridge, the managing partner of MPP. “This combination will put us in a stronger position to meet the needs of our clients throughout the country and address their business and legal challenges. We are excited to move forward.”
