The State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section and the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division will host the panel discussion, “Taking the Next Step: Tips and Tools for Your Legal Education Journey.”
Recent graduates and law students at every level of legal education from throughout Michigan will gather at WMU-Cooley Law School’s Auburn Hills campus Jan. 27 from noon to 2 p.m. to draw on the experience of one another and learn about the steps law students must take to become successful legal professionals.
The event will offer time for questions from participants as well as an opportunity to network with law students and attorneys statewide.
Panelists include:
• Sherwin Shushtari, first year law student, WMU-Cooley Law School
• Michelle Shember, second year law student, University of Detroit Mercy School of Law
• Graham Anderson, third year law student, Wayne State University Law School
• Nicole Raap, third year law student, Michigan State University College of Law
• Peter Keros, patent attorney, University of Michigan Law School graduate (2014)
The event is sponsored by the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section.
The discussion will take place in Room AH 145 of the Auburn Hills Campus at 2630 Featherstone Rd. in Auburn Hills.
