GARDEN CITY (AP) — A lockdown was imposed Wednesday at a high school in suburban Detroit where police searched the building.
Police spent much of the morning at Garden City High School. State police say they brought dogs to the school to search for ammunition.
School officials didn’t disclose the reason for the lockdown.
Meanwhile, a student at a school in Lapeer County was found with two loaded airsoft guns Tuesday. Almont Superintendent William Kalmar says another student alerted administrators at Almont Middle School.
Kalmar says staff and students were not in any danger. He praised the student who reported the guns.
