Avoiding a Grievance

The Oakland County Bar Association continued its Law Practice Management Series with a look at “Avoiding a Grievance” on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the OCBA offices in Bloomfield Hills. Speaking at the event were (l-r) Western Michigan University Cooley Law School Professor and Auxiliary Dean Martha Moore and Jordan Paterra, associate counsel with the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission. The pair covered such topics as the attorney grievance process, the most common complaints from clients, and when it’s time to seek representation in the grievance process.  The OCBA’s Law Practice Management Series focuses on the best practices for starting and maintaining a law practice. The next seminar will cover “Work/Life Balance” on Tuesday, March 27. For additional information or to register, visit www.ocba.org /events.
