Topgolf in Auburn Hills was the site of the Oakland County Bar Association’s annual challenge between the New Lawyers Committee (NLC) and the OCBA Board on Thursday, March 21. Instead of the usual bowling challenge, the teams squared off in a golf challenge. The board took home the trophy for back-to-back wins. Each year the NLC chooses a charity to advocate for and to whom it dedicates the proceeds of its fund-raising efforts. Happy to raise funds for the Oakland County Bar Foundation were (l-r) Joe Doerr, David Carl Anderson, Amy Carter, Mark Johnson, Jamie Martone, Mike Steinberger, Tanya Cripps, OCBA New Lawyer Chair Matthew Wood, Julie Kosovec, OCBA President Jim Parks, Victoria King, OCBA President-Elect Dan Quick, Ryan Plecha, OCBA Treasurer Kaveh Kashef, and Moheeb Murray. After a 4-year drought, the Board won the trophy over the NLC but both teams had a good time while raising funds for Hope Against Trafficking.
