Webinar focuses on 'Political Speech in the Workplace'

The Association of Corporate Counsel-Michigan Chapter (ACC-MI) will present a webinar sponsored by titled “Can You Say That? Political Speech in the Workplace & Crystal Ball: What to Expect in 2021” on Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m.

The webinar will cover:

  • Real-life examples
  • Statutory considerations in addressing political conversations in the workplace
  • Preserving harmony, inclusiveness, and efficiency in the workplace
  • Establishing best practices

In addition, the webinar will discuss what to expect in terms of changes to employment-related laws/policies at the Federal level under the Biden administration. Topics include:

  • Diversity and inclusion training
  • Emboldened EEOC and NLRB
  • OSHA oversight/covid-19 safety
